vet.smart.tubes for individual boxes deliver a defined amount of draft-free fresh air to each calf in every calf box. The working area of humans is gently supplied with fresh air without disturbing drafts. This creates a "germ barrier" between the different rows of boxes, preventing pathogen transmission.

Betrieb Thesing – Heek (North Rhine-Westphalia)Precise ventilation in the calf barn

At the Thesing plant in Heek, all aisles had to be kept draft-free; 100% of the electrical power used should go into supplying fresh air to the calves. Thanks to our 3D simulation technology, we were able to meet this requirement and install a precise ventilation system - 40,000m3 of fresh air for healthy calves!

Betrieb Seifart – Mals (South Tyrol)All-in-one system for cooling & ventilation

At the Seifart farm in Mals, the vet.smart.tube had to run across 3 different areas (cabins, milking parlor and calf area) with their own requirements. Thanks to our precise calculations and our 3D simulation technology, each area can be addressed individually with just one hose. The cubicles and the milking parlor are cooled and the calf area is ventilated without drafts. The feeding areas are ventilated with a second hose. Another similar system is located at the Kaser plant in Lüsen. Here a tube hangs lengthways over the calf group areas, which means the animals are constantly supplied with fresh air all year round.
