Milchgut Triebtal – Falkenstein/Vogtland (Saxony)Healthier calves in the open-front barn

Before our vet.smart.tubes were installed, there was a germ content of over 365,000 CFU/m³ in the calf barn at the Triebtal dairy farm. After installing our system, the content fell below 10,000 CFU/m³ This corresponds to an air improvement of almost 100%. Managing director Ms. Andermann reported to us that the air in the stable is significantly fresher and not a single calf had to be treated for pneumonia.

Robert Pelican – Surrein (Switzerland) Calf barn ventilation to improve animal health

Operations manager Robert Pelican built a new calf barn in 2007. After the installation, the flu spread quickly. In 2015 vet.smart.tubes were installed for better air exchange. The result: healthier animals, faster weight gain and, as a result, lower treatment costs. Just like calves that are ready for slaughter earlier - even in winter at -20 °C, as our ventilation system works draft-free and at low air speeds.
